Sen blev det ju ytterligare lite dyrare eftersom vi hade glömt mössor och köpte vars en där det står Nordkapp på. Vår tanke var att bo ute på klippan, men utan värme och med en temperatur som kryper ner mot nollan blir det lite tufft så vi kör till närmsta camping och övernattar istället och då passar det bra med en 24-timmars biljett, så att vi kan fortsätta att urforska klippan nästa dag. Jag måste säga att visst var det speciellt att stå och speja norrut och veta att nu är det bara Svalbard mellan mig och Nordpolen, men ärligt talat vet jag inte riktigt om jag förstår hur långt norrut jag är.
Men ändå jag gör ett försök till att beskriva hur långt norrut jag är. Vi brukar prata om breddgrader och vi bor i Höganäs på 56:e bräddgraden, Stockholm ligger på 59:e bräddgraden, Island ligger strax söder om Polcirkeln som befinner sig på 66:e bräddgraden, Kiruna ligger på 67:e bräddgraden, Tromsö ligger på 69:e bräddgraden och Nordkapp ligger alltså på 71:e bräddgraden.
Vackert är det i varje fall, men det var vägen hit också, så min rekommendation är nog att ta rätt utrustning med och vandra antingen till Knivskjellsodden eller till Kinnarodden för då har man verkligen varit längst norrut.
