I Björkliden på den svenska sidan hamnade vi efter en lång körning från Tromsö. Det här är den klassiska vinterorten i Sverige, hit tar man tåget och sen bor man gott på hotellet, åker skidor, sitter och myser framför brasan och äter god mat. Ja, det kan jag mycket väl tänka mig någon gång, men nu är det sommar, eller ja nästan i varje fall och även nu skulle jag kunna tänka mig att mysa framför brasan på hotellet. Men vi har bestämt att vi skall spela golf på Sveriges nordligaste bana. Jag läste någonstans att det t o m skulle vara världens nordligaste bana, men det tror jag inte riktigt på, vi har i varje fall träffat på minst två banor på vår väg ner från norr och jämfört med dem så ligger Björkliden ganska så långt söderut.
Vi börjar morgonen med att mjuka upp med en lätt promenad till ett vattenfall. Efter det här vattenfallet är det fotoförbud på vattenfall, det har även tidigare blivit fotoförbud på renar, men visst är det fint, både renar och vattenfall.
